Prayer for someone who is troubled

Help that desire sink deeply enough into my being for me to actually change and to say "no" to a least one worthy, but not urgent, task today. Give me the ability to be open to the life I am leading; not the one I am planning to lead.

Lord, it's likely that sometime today someone will push my buttons challenge my good will misread my intentions tick me off try my patience rattle my cage judge me in haste test my kindness or do all of the above Give me the grace I'll need at such times to respond with patience to trust and accept to listen carefully to reach out in peace to be fair and just to anctipate goodness in all my words and deeds I know this is a lot to ask, Lord, but I need your help to do for others as I'd have them do for me Lord, please put Your peace in my heart.

I'm worried and anxious. My mind races and obsesses. I can't help thinking about my problems. And the more I think about them, the more depressed I become. I feel like I'm sinking down in quicksand and can't get out. Calm me, Lord. Slow me down, put Your peace in my heart. No matter what problem I have, Lord, You are bigger, You are more powerful than it is. So I bring my problem to You. I know what I want. I know my will. I do not know Yours. I do not know how You will use this problem for my salvation.

I do not know what good You will workout from this evil. But I trust You. I trust Your goodness and Your wisdom. So I place myself in Your hands. Please fill my heart with peace. Loving others. Medical treatments vaccines. Mental disorders. Mission trip. Natural disasters. New year. Parent wounds. Praise God. Role-playing games. Self as spouse. Spouse unbeliever. Work politics. Work testimony. I can ask in faith and trust it is in His will when I invite Him to do what He says He can and will do for people.

Here is a prayer based on Scripture that invites healing for those who are struggling and held captive by fear. God, I cry out to You for help knowing that you are listening. Thank You for your promise to be near the those who are brokenhearted and those crushed in spirit. Where there is sorrow and fear, I ask You to replace that sorrow and turn it into the oil of gladness.

Ephesians In this situation, I trust You and promise not to lean on my own understanding or ideas of what should happen for them. I will trust You with their heart and their healing. In the name of Jesus, I ask these things so that You will be known. Amen — John If we know God by knowing His Word, we will know how to intercede. You say that I will not be overwhelmed in the flood or consumed by the fire. You are my Savior in every part of my life. You give me everything I need.

The breath I use to pray this prayer is a gift from you. Help me rely on you. Prince of Peace Prayer Lord Jesus Christ, you are the prince of peace, you breathed on your disciples and gave them your peace. I ask that you would give me your peace in this time of trouble. When I feel anxious would you remind me that your word says I do not need to worry, but in everything I should pray to you.

Your peace, which surpasses understanding will guard my heart and mind. Please give me that peace at this time. Please turn your ear to my cry for help. As I seek you, would you answer and deliver me from all my fears. When I feel out of control, remind me that you are in control. Increase my faith in you. My circumstances are far from peaceful at this time Lord but your peace is not the peace that the world offers.
